COVID-19 Update:  Notice to all of our patients

Nurture Dental Health Team of seven people standing in a line
UPDATE from March 16, 2020:

Hello to all of our wonderful patients, friends and family!

We are monitoring guidance from the CDC and other local, state, and federal authorities. As per the ADA, the county of Lehigh, and the Governor of Pennsylvania, at this time we have chosen to remain open for access to care for our patients needing necessary dental treatment and emergencies until the end of the week.

If you have a preventative or a non-urgent appointment scheduled within the next 3 weeks, we ask that you please call our office to reschedule your next visit at least 4 weeks out as you are able.

If you are having a dental emergency or pain, please call our office - DO NOT go to your local Urgent Care or Emergency Room.

We will have 24 hour access to our phones and if we do not answer your call, as always please leave a message if you wish to be called back - we will call you back.

We will continue to monitor developments and will be in touch with any additional updates as necessary. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

UPDATE from March 15, 2020:

We are monitoring guidance from the CDC and other local, state, and federal authorities. At this time we have chosen to remain open for access to care for our patients needing necessary dental treatment and emergencies.

We want to reassure all of you that we are taking all possible precautions to avoid transmission of communicable diseases in our office. The same procedures we employ every day to protect our team and patients, including sterilization and disinfection, are highly effective against coronavirus. Our team is frequently wiping all the door handles and touch surfaces with the same disinfectants we use in the treatment rooms. We wash our hands and use medical grade hand sanitizer between every patient.

We always thoroughly clean all surfaces in treatment rooms after every patient using disinfectant used in operating rooms that kills viruses and bacteria. We always use masks, gloves, and eye protection for our team.

We regularly wipe down bathrooms and waiting area with disinfectant that kills viruses and bacteria. We have hand sanitizer and antimicrobial mouth rinses available throughout the office.

We offer prophylactic rinses with hydrogen peroxide prior to all procedures as recommended by the ADA.

We have removed all toys and magazines from our waiting room areas.

In an effort to reduce the number of people in our waiting room at the same time:

-Refrain from bringing others to your appointments unless needed as an escort for sedation or transportation purposes.

-You are welcome to call us when you park and we will let you know when your treatment room is ready.

To protect our patients and team, we kindly ask that you do not come in and call in advance to reschedule your appointment in the following scenarios:

-If yourself or anyone in your family has any cold, fever, flu-like or other relevant symptoms.

-If you believe that yourself or anyone in your family may have been exposed to COVID-19 in the US or outside of the US.

We will continue to monitor developments and will be in touch with any additional updates as necessary. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
